Lancaster: Make do and mend

As part of mental health awareness week and to coincide with an exhibition depicting 80th anniversary of VE day from our Patten Second World War collection, we are having a themed day of #makedoandmend. Lancaster Makerspace https://lamm.space/ will bring skilled people to help you mend your broken items between 2-4pm. During this, at 2.30pm, there will be a talk explaining about the Haybox cooking method used in the wartime and in the evening 6-7.30pm will be Stitch Club where you can learn to mend your well-loved clothes. All Free and hosted in the Library Archive Research Centre in the basement. It will also be mental health wear it green day so come waring something green and post on Instagram.
