Organising an event for residents of Kirkwall Drive area in Bolton to reflect the lives and sacrifices of those that served, paying tribute to the VE and VJ Day generation.
It is an occasion of bringing together elderly people for talks about their past, present and future . Refreshments will be provided by “Multicultural Manchester” organisation where I am one of the active members + music and songs of the war time.
We are planning to plant a tree in one of the gardens in Bromwich street to commemorate the 80th anniversary since the end of World War II
