On the afternoon of Friday 9th May, Kendal Town Council is hosting a tea party to celebrate VE Day. The Kendal Concert Big Band will play popular tunes from the period, there will be a nostalgic buffet and period dress and dancing to the music to the music are both positively encouraged.
