My Great Nanny gave me this beautiful anniversary card which was sent to her by my Great Grandad and was painted by a German prisoner of war.
Unfortunately my Great Nanny did write in it and stick in with blutack but it remains a beautiful work of art.
Inside it reads:
To wish you many, many happy returns of your double anniversary and hoping that we spend the remainder together. With fondest love from your proud husband. Bill X
