For the Museums Public Open Day scheduled for Bank holiday Monday 25th August the Far Eastern Prisoner of War locomotive SINGAPORE will be on special display to mark the 80th Anniversary of the liberation of Far Eastern Prisoners of War from Changi Gaol Prisoner of War Camp in Singapore.
Museum visitors can view the locomotive and its display inside the exhibition building. Other quarry railway events will also take place together with visitor brakevan trips.
