We will be holding a street party and displaying a special exhibition about WWII and especially the war in the far east and VJ Day.
The street party is outside the museum and anyone can come along. In the true spirit of a wartime street party, please bring some food. All refreshments, Tea/coffee supplied. The street party is free but to access the museum normal entry fees apply. We will also be displaying artefacts and the story of a Royal Artillery officer who was a POW of the Japanese, who successfully manage to escape from his POW camp.
