Join us at the Royal Garrison Church as we look back to August 1945 as hostilities drew to a close.
A service of Evensong will take the themes of conflict and hoped for peace.
The Church gardens will be open from 1700 for bring your own picnic, with the service starting at 1830. With support from the Garrison, Congregation and a group from the Royal Army Medical Services Band.
After the service finishes we intend to join the lighting of the beacon in Manor Park Aldershot.
