Private Frank Myatt to Olive Myatt

A letter sent from my Grandad Frank Myatt in Northern Italy to his Wife Olive Myatt in Lichfield, Staffordshire.

I inherited all of their old pictures sent back from the War

The letter reads:

May 1st 1945

Hello Dearest and how are you keeping Darling. In the pink sugar, and how’s my little girl getting along Dear, is she still in lovely as as ever Oll.

I’m doing alright Honey so you’ve no need to worry about me Dearest.
Just let me know what you think of these photos Darling, my self think there a wash out.

Must close now Oll, so cheerio my dearest one
your ever ever loving Husband Frank
