The Committee is planning a very special evening in the Hall on Saturday, 10th May in celebration of the 80th anniversary of VE (Victory in Europe) Day. Commencing at 7.30 it will include comedy sketches, music and dancing from the 1940’s, a NAAFI supper at 8.15 and a grand prize raffle. The bar will, of course, be open and period dress is welcomed! Finalised information will be included in our April newsletter and published on the parish notice boards in addition to our own. Tickets, priced at £15.00 each, are available now; please contact Mrs Jane Mitchell as soon as possible to secure yours and to avoid any risk of disappointment!
