The Wren Cafe is making Thursday 8th May, VE Celebration Day, the Cafe will be open from 10:00am to 3:00pm with live entertainment from The Ukulele Group and Suzi Saperia, there will be a short act of rememberance in the neighbouring Memorial Garden where Buglers from the Yorkshire Volunteer Corps of Drums will play the Last Post and Reveille. Please come along and support this event, 1940’s dress is strongly encouraged, and there will be appropriate 1940’s grub, along with a raffle and a name the pigeon competition. All proceeds will go to the Royal British Legion.
