The letters are from my father to my mother before they got married and whilst he was in the Army (R.A.S.C) – he was captured in June 1941 at the battle of Tobruk, he was one of the desert rats and was captured and held a prisoner in Germany from June 41 till end of the WW2. They marched them on foot from Germany to Italy then moved back to Germany.
