The letter describes how he was assigned to his unit (after a hospital stay) but they had moved some 300 miles along the coast (of Ghana?) but when he got to his new station he had lots of letters waiting for him. He was asking after his children and acknowledged he’d received a letter from one of his nephews. The letter was given to me by his niece.
