Aldershot is home of the British Army and we are hosting a gathering for the community in Manor Park.
The Council recently approved for a beacon to be erected in Manor Park, and this will be lit for the first time on 8th May.
The Military Events Enhancement Group have been meeting over the past few months to organise this event and we would love to see everyone from the local and surrounding communities come together.
We will have local speakers, including the Mayor, Cove brass band, a young piper, a veteran playing the last post on his trumpet and more.
The event will start at 20.30hrs and the Beacon will be lit at 21.30hrs.
Parking is available at the Multi-storey car park on High street (10 min walk)
Please do not park in residential areas.
