Join us for a commemorative Beacon lighting ceremony at Wellmeadow, Blairgowrie as part of a series of Beacons being lit across Perth and Kinross to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day and remember the valour of those who served in WWII.
The event will begin with an introduction from the Lord Lieutenant/Depute Lieutenant of Perth and Kinross, with a piper, bugler and choir participating in the lead up the Beacon being lit for 9.30pm. The Beacon will remain lit for approximately one hour.
