My dad was in the Royal Artillery joining up in 1938 at the age of 18. I have a box full of letters written by my parents to each other through the war. I have a few dated 1943 right through to 1946. My mum & dad were married on Christmas day 1944 in North London & my dad was out in the far east in Burma & India coming home I think in the Feb/March of 1946. Some, unfortunately, are not dated so it’s been hard to get them in some sort of chronological order.
