VE Celebration with screening of the Darkest Hour

An evening of shared celebration of the 80th anniversary of VE Day on Thursday 8th May at 6:30 p.m.

This is a community event organised by Henley Arts4All held at Henley-in-Arden Memorial Hall. Tickets are free but limited.

Visit www.henleyarts4all.co.uk for tickets. Bar and snacks available.

Our community will unite to celebrate 80 years of peace since the end of World War II in Europe.

VE Day 80 is not only a tribute to those who fought for freedom but also a powerful reminder of the resilience and unity that have defined our country ever since.
Arrive at 6:30 dressed in 1945’s attire (optional) and immerse yourself in the atmosphere with sights and sounds of the time, prior to the showing of the Darkest Hour, which received six Academy Award nominations. Following the film showing we will celebrate with music and clips of the joy that followed.
