The We’ll Meet Again Museum will host the commemorations starting on the day (8th May) with raising the official flag, then holding a ticketed street party luncheon with live entertainment and then in the evening from 8pm a ceremony and lighting of the beacon which is free to all to attend. Over the Friday, Saturday and Sunday the museum will be open 10am- 4pm with special displays including the Hawker Hurricane, vehicles, home front and military displays.
