As Guernsey marks the 80th anniversary of Liberation from German Occupation, a special set of nine exhibitions and displays has been created to honour this defining chapter in the island’s story.
Located at key cultural and historical sites, visitors can explore personal stories, artworks, historical artefacts and photographs that bring the era vividly to life.
Guernsey Museums are very proud to have collaborated with Guernsey Arts, Island Archives, Guille-Allès Public Library, Guernsey, The Priaulx Library, Guernsey, the Royal Court, Blue Ormer, Marco Tersigni and Simon Hamon, to create this compelling tribute to Guernsey’s wartime experience.
