On Thursday 8th May, towns up and down the country will be commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
In partnership with the Blandford & District Branch of the Royal British Legion we are holding a beacon lighting ceremony in Woodhouse Gardens.
Join us from 7.30pm for refreshments and the opportunity to explore the Blandford Commemoration Group’s VE-Day exhibition in the pavilion prior to the ceremony starting at 8.45pm which will culminate with the lighting of the beacon at 9.15pm.
This is a free event for everyone!
