A Fete to celebrate VE80, from traditional stalls such as Splat the Rat, to bungie trampolines there will be lots to do, see and enjoy. Running from 12:00 -16:00 you can come and join Newlands Community Group in celebrating this historic event.
Arena events include dance exhibitions, hobby horse racing, monster feet races and more, there will be plenty of things for everyone in the family. Our stall holders offer items such as handmade jewellery, bath bombs and fidget toys. Meet local scouting and cadet groups and some of the wonderful local businesses.
Listen to the official announcement ending the war in Europe, hear the nations tribute to all those who served and are serving and even join in by coming in fancy dress.
