Sherburn and Villages Community Trust are hosting an afternoon VE Day celebration at The Old Girls’ School Community Centre, Sherburn-In-Elmet. It is a free community event, kindly supported by volunteers and everyone is welcome. There will be singing and dancing, historical displays and war themed books from Sherburn & Villages Community Library to browse. Free light refreshments will be provided – homemade scones and hot drinks. 1940’s dress optional! Come along and enjoy this community celebration!
