We’re thrilled to invite you to a truly special occasion as we mark the 80th Anniversary of VE Day with warmth, gratitude, and community spirit!
Join us on Thursday 8th May from 2PM–4PM at The Wheatsheaf, Little Common for a FREE Afternoon Tea dedicated to all Veterans, serving Armed Forces personnel, their carers, and families.
Expect a heartfelt afternoon filled with delicious treats, nostalgic music from the era, and a powerful moment of remembrance as we pause at 3PM to listen to Winston Churchill’s historic VE-Day speech, exactly 80 years to the day.
Let’s come together to celebrate the courage, sacrifice, and unity of those who served.
