Long Bennington Bowls Club are commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE Day with a couple of events.
Thursday 8th May 9am we will raise the VE80 Flag. At 9.30pm we will join the nation in lighting a lamp of peace and singing I Vow To Thee My Country.
On Friday 9th May at 6.30pm we are holding a bbq, a wartime songs sing along, lots of flag waving and a raffle in aid of the Royal Britis Legion. All events are open to non members.
