This is my fathers letter to his Mother, December 1944. It was discovered in 2011 at his sisters home. Frank was in the pacific at the time he wrote the letter, he was a Royal Marine on Force X as part of the Pacific Fleet. The letter asks about the family and describes him being homesick and missing being home with his family at Christmas. He describes a very basic Christmas aboard Emperor Aquabus. He spent five years away from 1941-46.
