The Horncastle & District Branch of the Royal British Legion are hosting a Party in the Park on Saturday 16th August 2025, 12pm to 4pm, to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory over Japan Day. It is being held on the grassed area next to The Wong Cattle Market car park.

This event is open to the public and entry is free. Please bring your own chairs and picnic. There will be live musical entertainment from The Elderlies Ukelele Band and Face Painting by Michaela. Have a go at some games such as Skittles, Golf and Splat the Rat which you can play for free.
Nearby businesses will be selling ice cream, food and drinks.
