We are pleased to be Commemorating VJ Day in the award winning Wollescote Park Sensory Garden on Friday 15th August with Live Music from the Peaky Blondie. Maggie Page aka “Peaky Blondie”, will be performing in RAF uniform and will be bringing who will be swinging and swaying to the Big Band Sounds of the 1940s era This event is organised by the Friends of Wollescote Park volunteers and we will hoping to create that wartime spirit by welcoming the community to this free get together. The Pop-up Community Cafe will be open selling delicious homemade cake. It’s free to come along so why not join us in song, dance and remembrance.
