The Tank Museum at Bovington in Dorset brings the story of tanks and tank crews to life. With over 300 tanks from 26 nations, The Tank Museum holds the finest and most historically significant collection of fighting armour in the world.
Over the weekend of 16-17 August, we will be offering a walking tour to mark the 80th anniversary of VJ Day; ‘Armoured Beasts for the Far East’, primarily focused on vehicles and regiments used in Burma.
This will be part of our daily programme of tours and talks available to Museum visitors, further information will be provided on the day.
