The event, marking the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day, will take place on the Minster green on May 10 from 11am to 4pm.
It will be a memorable celebration to honour those who served and sacrificed.The public is invited to share memories or photos of the historic day.
The event will feature a history wall, wartime re-enactors, and period vehicles.
There will also be stalls, a bouncy castle, and nostalgic refreshments, including spam, jam, and bread in a can.
Visitors can enjoy free tea, served in NAAFI style, with any cake purchase
