Birkenhead Rotary held a special commemoration lunch for over 40 Rotarians and Guests, within our venue, which is a golf club. The room was decorated, we had a scouse meal, with union jack cup cakes and a Rotarian speaker – subject “My Mother and Other Spies”.
We read out the Veterans Open Letter at the start and at the end remembered those who never came back or were affected by the war.
