Join us for a special day of talks and activities to celebrate the opening of our exhibition, ‘Beyond Burma’, and to mark the 80th anniversary of VJ Day.
This day of lectures aims to shine a light on the remarkable multinational army that fought in some of the toughest conditions of the Second World War.
Headline speakers will include Rob Lyman, Lucy Betteridge-Dyson and the National Army Museum’s own Alan Jeffreys – the lead curator of our forthcoming exhibition Beyond Burma: Forgotten Armies.
There will also be a chance to engage with the Burma Star Memorial Fund, the Kohima Educational Trust, as well as representatives from regimental museums and associations.
