On behalf of Cambridge City Mayor Cllr Dinah Pounds, Cambridge City will be holding a VJ church service led by the Revd Canon Jutta Brubeck and will commemorate the end of World War Two and honour the FEPOWs, COFEPOWs, British, Commonwealth and USA armed forces. The FEPOW society will also lay wreaths in memory of those who served in the Far East. The service will commence at 10:45hrs on the 15 August 2025 and will culminate with a flyover by the Catalina Flying Boat at 12:15hrs. The Catalina saw service from 1943-61. The Catalina is the only airworthy flying boat outside the Americas. We look forward to seeing you at this event.
