Cowes Town Council will be hosting a VE Day 80th Anniversary Parade and Beacon Lighting Ceremony on Thursday 8 May 2025, on The Parade in Cowes, Isle of Wight.
At 7pm, a parade of cadets will march through the town before reaching The Parade where veterans and members of the public will enjoy entertainment, followed by the lighting of the Beacon at 9.30pm, to coincide with the national lighting of beacons.
The event will conclude at approximately 10.00pm. Members of the public are invited to attend.
