The Ironbridge and Coalbrookdale Civic Society is a small, local charity that promotes the history of the area.
We are organising an event in Ironbridge Square that will consist of display boards commemorating the men on our WW2 memorial along with stories about them from relatives in the area. There will also be stories about servicemen who returned. In addition, a website is being set up which will make all this and more relevant information available to all.
This event has been financially supported by Telford and Wrekin Council.
