We are a local evangelical church in a street where almost half the families have expressed a desire to mark the day by arranging a barbeque, food, and teas and coffee as part of an existing coffee morning. From 12 noon on Monday 5th.; meet, eat, talk and remember those who made it possible for us to have this freedom to do so. And trust that memories and conversation may serve to educate and guide generations to come to read the signs and to avoid these tragedies of modern history being repeated. And to recognise in this world, those who believe that the only way to achieve wealth and power is through conflict, and to avoid them!
