Romanby Pariah Council are organising the VEDay80 Beacon-Lighting event on the evening of Thursday 8th May – our final WWII commemoration as this amazing generation pass into history. Music, stories and tales of life in Romanby and the world in 1945 – all part of a nationwide beacon-lighting event to mark this historic occasion.
