Rydal Penrhos Community Wind Band is presenting a concert to commemorate VE Day with assistance from the Rotary Club of Rhos on Sea.
The concert will be held at the United Reformed Church, Colwyn Avenue, Rhos on Sea. LL28 4RA on Saturday 3rd May at 7.30 p.m.

In addition there will be a 1:72 scale diorama showing joint service operations from the Normandy landings forward to river crossings further inland, which will assist in describing the actions during and following D-Day.
This model has been constructed by a former Royal Engineer who is a member of Rhos on Sea Rotary club. We hope local schools will take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about our nations’s history at this eventful time
