This is a VJ80 Commemoration Service in The City Parish of St John the Baptist Church (also known as St John’s Church). It is open to members of the public and will take place at 6:00pm on VJ Day, Friday 15th August 2025. The church, located a short walk from Cardiff Castle, was the spiritual home of the City of Cardiff Branch of the Burma Star Association for many years and contains a stained-glass window provided through funds donated by members of the City of Cardiff Branch and the Burma Star Association. The service will last approximately 45 minutes.
