On 8th May at 9.30pm, Potterne lights the VE-Day 80 beacon. We’re all meeting in the George & Dragon Inn beforehand, from 7 pm, for a buffet supper then, at 9 pm, we take a short walk to the site of the beacon. A local dignitary will read the VE Day Tribute, then the beacon will be lot to coincide with other beacons across the nation. Do join us!
