Take Shelter is the charity that runs tours of our school air raid shelter, under the playground of Downs Junior School, Brighton. We have been selected to host the city’s official VE Day commemoration on Saturday 10th May. At this special event, attended by local dignateries, not only will our air raid shelter be open for appointment-booked visits, but we’ll also be running an array additional wartime themed activities and entertainment suitable for all the family.
