A service at 7pm to give thanks for the end of the Second World War and the Victory over Japan based on the services held in August 1945 in Westminster Abbey and St Paul’s Cathedral. There will be music sung by our choir, hymns, readings, and an Act of Remembrance. The sermon will be given by the Revd Canon the Lord Biggar of Castle Douglas, former Professor of Moral and Pastoral Theology at Oxford. There will be food available after the service and the parish bar will be open.
