Later this month on the Saturday 10th of May, Woodbridge will proudly mark the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day:
- In Elmhurst Park, as a lasting tribute to peace, a special Tree of Peace will be planted.
- Local shops will take part in a Best Dressed Window Competition, with creative, vintage-inspired displays adding to the nostalgic atmosphere. There will be 2 hampers up for grabs.
