An illustrated talk by Christopher Pratt on the expoerience of life and death during wartime in East Suffolk. To commemorate VE Day 80 – 8th May 2025.
TICKETS: £10 to include refreshments are available on the Door (cash or card) or in advance via the website www.earlsohamvillagehall.orgAn accompanying book ‘Commemorating the Men of Earl Soham 1914-1918 1939-1945’ will be on
sale for £5. Proceeds from book sales support the upkeep of the Earl Soham War Memorial.
A £50 donation from ticket sales will be given to Parham Airfield Museum. Additional funds from ticket sales will help towards fundraising for an urgently needed new eco-friendly heating system for our lovely vintage pre-WW2 Village Hall in Earl Soham.
Please arrive with enough time to join us for a Welcome with mugs of lovely hot tea and slice of home-made cake.
Talk begins at 2pm. Free parking at the Hall, with overspill at the GP Surgery opposite and the Village School nearby.
