My grandfather was a PoW in WW2 and kept all of his wartime correspondence until his death. I’ve come into possession of these letters and wanted to share them to honour his memory. This letter is from when he was held at a camp in Germany and was sent on a timber logging job, and he remarks on how nice Germany is.
