When Diana was just six years old, her father wrote her this letter to explain the significance of VE Day. In it, he asked her to keep it safe and one day share it with her own children. Diana honoured that wish, holding onto it for a lifetime and passing it on to us shortly before she passed away in March. It’s a piece of history we will always cherish and, in time, pass down to future generations.
