Cecil Parker’s Christmas card to his brother Eric

This is not a letter, but a Christmas card sent from Jerusalem by my father Cecil Parker to his brother Eric Parker, It is not dated, but I think it must have been about 1940. After My uncle Eric’s death, my cousin found this card in Eric’s memorabilia, and forwarded it to me about three Christmases ago. I was astonished and delighted to receive this charming card from my father, sent 80+ years ago!

I also have a Bible that he sent to my mother from Jerusalem, with a poem ’Not Forever’.

My father Thomas Cecil Parker served in what was then Palestine, Egypt, and South Africa – I think in that order.
