The letter was amongst my late mother’s papers and I have kept it as part of my family history research. Len was referring to Uncle Jack (my maternal grandfather) and Jean (my mother). The letter refers to them getting together for a booze up, sadly I discovered that Len was killed 4 days after he wrote the letter.
