This is one of many items I have of my Grandad’s time as RSM in the Coldstream guards.
It is a beautiful heartfelt letter of love in terrible situation.
I have also sent a photo of my grandad and a photo of him with Field Marshal Montgomery who looks very small next to grandad. He served in the Coldstream Guards from 1924 to 1946 and progressed to RSM.
