The cards were in a box in the attic. My father was a POW in Changi and on the side of the cards are Japanese ‘permission’ stamps. The card of particular interest is the last which mentions Cousin Louis. My father was telling his parents that Mountbatten was coming to Singapore for the surrender of the Japanese.
