The evening will start with ringing the eight bells of St.Nicholas Church, followed by Hurst Morris People dancing at the The Castle. The Castle will organise fish and chip suppers to be ordered in advance (or on the day) and picked up form the old take-away window. There will be stalls/displays/activities in the Community Orchard, with “complete the stamps on your ration card” things to do. The evening will close with thanksgiving, and lighting of the beacon by the Royal British Legion around 9.15pm.
Note: this event may already have ended.
