The drawing was from my Father to his Mother during WW2. We have not found the letter but this is a light hearted drawing Dad sent to his Mother obviously enclosed in a letter to make her smile. My Father was a Sergeant in the Eight Army – a Desert Rat. He also had a brother in the RAF and 2 brothers in the Navy so it was a difficult time for all the family.
